VIENNA ENSEMBLE PRO 5 is the first MIDI and audio LAN solution that works universally on Macs and PCs. Now you can easily set up a cross-platform network using a simple Ethernet cable – no further audio and MIDI hardware is needed on your slave computers. VIENNA ENSEMBLE is the FREE mixing and host software without the network function. It is available as a free download for all registered Vienna Instruments users.

  • PC version: Windows XP 32-bit, Windows 7/Vista 32-bit and 64-bit versions (Core 2 Duo/Xeon recommended).
  • Mac version: 32-bit and 64-bit version for Intel Core 2 Duo/Xeon with Mac OS X 10.5.7 or higher. PPC/PPC64 works but is not actively supported.

Attention: Vienna Ensemble with Pro Tools needs version 7.3 or higher

Attention OS X 10.4 users:
An earlier version of Vienna Ensemble that is compatible with OS X 10.4 and PPC computers is available in the Archive of the Vienna Ensemble Software User Area. Please note that this older version is NOT compatible with Vienna Instruments PRO, and it also shows the “old” user interface. This version comes with the corresponding, older version of the manual.
