Guy Bacos, well known to the visitors of our Demo Zone, is one of our most inspired, creative and hard-working demo composers. His high-quality work will demonstrate the potential of our products. It’s time to introduce:
 The Guy Behind the Music
Guy has been writing music ever since he began his first piano lessons at the age of 8. He is an accomplished pianist, having studied many years with concert pianist Paul Loyonnet!
Guy has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from McGill University and a Master's Degree in Performance from the University of Montreal. With a strong interest and talent towards composing for film, his styles are versatile yet focused. Guy's compositional strengths range through thrillers, romance, deep fantasy and sci-fi, documentaries, as well as detailed and joyful disney-esque music. He is also accomplished at composing original classical pieces, and reproducing old ones with faithful dedication. Bacos is quickly making a name for himself as a pioneer in the new creative frontier of virtual orchestral production using the Vienna Instruments.
He is involved in numerous multimedia projects. Two years ago, Guy scored a good portion of the thriller "Eternal". That was the first time he heard and used sample libraries of the Vienna Symphonic Library.
Commissioned to create demos for The Vienna Symphonic Library’s new Vienna Instruments, Guy Bacos has written and produced some brilliant musical pieces. And there is more to come!
