I got the trial version of Vienna Instrument pro 2, but in the midi sequencer mode, the shortcuts on my keyboard don't works, so I can't play/stop the music, or quantize etc..
I don know if the demo mode of Vienna Instruments pro 2 excludes some operations; maybe yes...
Can you help me? Tanks.

I'm using the full vienna instrument pro 2 and the shortcuts don't work in the sequence mode inside your DAW (Cubase). What DAW were you using?

Hi,
Just to be safe here: When the powerful and complex APP Sequencer in VI Pro is turned on, it really takes over... so in that matrix, you will also only trigger a sequence on your keyboard.
All the switching and sequencing is then done by the APP Sequencer itself. Check out these videos on Youtube.

Those are great tutorials. Although the activate shortcut button exists inside vi pro sequencer I can confirm it does not work with the current version Cubase 11. When activated, it does freeze Cubase’s shortcuts but then the sequencer will not perform its shortcut keys. Maybe works fine for other daws.

Hi everyone,
I did some testing, and I can confirm that the shortcuts are not recognized by both Cubase 10.5 & 11.0. The details were forwarded to our developers, and we will look into it. I also tested this with the free Vienna Ensemble software & Vienna Ensemble Pro 7. The APP Sequencer shortcuts work there as intended. So that could be a useful workaround in the meanwhile.
