I am about to change my slave computer from Mac to PC. Soon I will need to load all of my VI and Meta Frame files in Windows, but they were created on my Mac. Will I be able to do this or do I have have to recreate them from scratch in the Windows version?

It all depends on what version of VEP and how you created them. In VEP 6 you can use VST, so these Metaframes are compatible with Windows, but if you used a version before VEP 6 and/or used AU to create your Metaframe, I'm afraid that you may have to start again. Some plugs (such as VSL) may well translate, but if would be better, IMO, just to start again, to avoid potential problems further along the line.
