Greetings. You are probably reading this because you're attempting to connect to your gigabit ethernet-connected VSL slave machine, but the saved instance is not showing up when you try to connect to it. I am not using Sleep or Power Nap or any other "Energy Saving" schemes.

Sometimes a master VEP7 plugin can find the valid instance, sometimes it does not. This began on a version in early summer, 2021. Sometimes, the only solution is to completely remove the VSL software, but I don't think that reinstalling software everyday is a good long term solution.

This occurs with Pro Tools and Logic and it is not specific to a particular machine or OS.
