File / Import Instances from Server Project
Dietz, this sounds fantastic!
I assume you'd use the VEP Audio Input FX plugin. I've never used it, so can't be of much more help :
Just an FYI that this isn't listed on the MIRx product page
I think you probably want to Import an instance. Just be careful when you save, as it may want to write over the project you imported from.
And just let the text wrap by itself; don't hit enter until you start a new paragraph..
I'd personally recommend using the new system as your main computer. It will probably handle your needs most of the time, but you have the older system to bring into play when you need it.
Thanks Andi
I was surprised to see in the Steinberg YouTube the the template loads individual player instances, rather than using VE. I'm curious why you did it that way.
Just click on the little gear icon in the upper right of the Player and add entries to the database
I've experienced the same thing.
Start and same a server project A
Import an instance from server project B
Hit Save, and server project B is overwritten without warning
If you're using the Synchron player in standalone mode, go to the File menu / Preferences to set your audio output.
If you're using as a plugin in, the audio routing is handled by the host.
Hi Paul, Isn't it past your bedtime? :)
Yes, I have the complete bundle registered. Still not showing up. I had no problem with the SY version.
I see it for the SY Dim Strings but not for the VI
Did you purchase, or just using the demo?
Yes, a lot of work! I'm sort of disapointed they used Program change instead off CCs to switch matrices.

You could probably use a virtual MIDI cable to connect Musecore to Vienna Ensemble. I've never tried it, but it should work.
In Windows if you have the VEP Server icon in your taskbar, you can right click on it and choose a recent project. I imagine MAC has something similar.
Can you give a specific example? The kwyswitches are always set to be outside the instruments range
Did you tell VEP where the plugins are?
VEP only recognizes VST2 plugs
You'd want to build your template independently and save it as a server project. You can then connect to it from either Dorico or Cubase (open template first).
Yes, of course
Yes, they must be the same version.
Is there some reason you're not giving the name of the app?
