 Hi there!

I have one little Question and i hope someone can help :)

Is it possible to do Programm changes in Kontakt 2 with my modulation wheel? I loaded some articulations in an Instrument Bank and now I want to switch between them via modwheel (just like in the Vienna Instrument). I cannot figure out how to do that...

enjoy your weekend ;)

Cheers Stefan

Hello Mr. Drums,

Program changes happen in the sequencer [cubase, sonar, logic] not in the sampler AFAIK. You can change them in cubase by going to Midi->List editor, my own preferred way, and yes you can do it the modwheel too.

Hey there

sorry, i think you get me wrong...I know that Programm changes happens in the sequencer. I just wanted to know, how to switch between the Programms via Modwheel.

My english isn't that good :)

Hmm,

There *is* a way, I know that there's already a cc set to it. Are you playing in the music with a keyboard? It's really tricky playing program changes with the modwheel, I strongly recommend using the list editor.

 Hi Robert,

I know what you mean. I can set my Modwheel (with the M-Audio Enigma software) to only 3 steps instead of 127 steps (i hope so :) )

Oh really? That, to me, is quite strange. I can set it for the full 127. I don't have to set anything, it just acts as it does for any other CC.

Hmmm. Let me look into it and report back later on today! :D

If you`re in Cubase i guess you could use the Input Transformer to convert CC messages to Program Change messages.

Its kinda difficult to use tho, but i think it should be possible.?
