I'm using VE Pro running side by side with Pro Tools HD on a MacPro. I'm also using a Digidesign C24 control surface and its all working great!

I'd like to add a second MacPro as a VE Pro slave but I'm a bit concerned about the ethernet situation. The C24 connects to the Mac via Ethernet and I'm wondering if there are any known clashes or bandwidth issues using a VE Pro?

I personally doubt that a control surface will transfer enough data to be of any consequence. There also shouldn't be any clashes unless the control surface happens to use the exact network ports that VE Pro uses, which is very unlikely.

Thanks for the reply Karel. I'll see how I get on.

The control surface does seem to like it's own dedicated port but I can use the other port on my Mac Pro for VE Pro.
