64bit PLAY isn't recognized in 64bit VEPro5.

Has anybody had this issue? I have the 32 bit and 64 bit PLAY installed in one folder (separate folders in root) which VEPro5 is set to scan. It scans it, and will actually find the play_vst_64x.dll in passing as it scans all the plugins but in the tree I cannot see it. I cannot select it in a VEPro instance either.

The 32 bit version is also found, and can be used. So that just further confuses me.

I have the latest updates on both PLAY and VEpro5. Can anybody help me here?

 If you can use the 32-bit Play but not the 64-bit one,  then you must be running the 32-bit version of VE Pro.


Make sure you are running Vienna Ensemble Pro x64.exe

andyjh, I am pretty sure i'm running the 64 bit version of VEPro if I am seeing it read over the 64 bit version of play. Plus i'm pretty sure the 64 at the end of the app name indicates i'm using the 64 bit version. I have both versions running side by side anyway so it's not possible to mistake it.
