Hi, I've been looking for threads that address this but most seem to be at least a few years old. Does anyone have a recommendation for a reliable, fast thunderbolt hard drive to store and access vsl files from? My system:

MacBook Pro Retina (late 2013 model), 16GB 2.6 GHz Intel core. Running OS X Yosemite.

I'm mostly using samples in Logic X

Thanks !

If you're going mobile, I recommend LaCie's Little Big Disk Thunderbolt 2

Otherwise I would recommend Multidock 2 from BlackMagic Design

With the 2nd option, you can use whatever SSD brand as you desired, you can configure either RAID 0, 1 and JBOD. I've been using Multidock 2 for over an year, very reliable and fast for all my sample libraries including VSL.

I'm using 2013 Mac Pro with Multidock via thunderbolt 2 (JBOD configuration).
