I made a my own preset of french Horn I and I tried to play a Little bit, but Cubase started to crash everytime after few notes.
With Synchron percussion and strings is ok.
The Synchron player is up to date.
Does anyone have the same problem?
YES, same here with "SYNCHRON-ized BRASS Dimension I" in latest Cubase Pro 9.5 Version 9.5.40 ,but even much worse than your mentioned problems above.
Whether it´s Synchronplayer that crashes the whole time out of nowhere or Cubase itself crashes.
It´s really hard for me to believe what i am telling you right now:
In more than over 20 years! of my audio-pc-experience with all kinds of VST-Instruments in Cubase, i really have never experienced so many crashes in just a short of period of time - let´s say in one hour (roundabout 10 to 12 Crashes! )- like this ... EVER BEFORE!
Don´t get me wrong the quality of the brass samples, the articulations and instruments are really highest quality compared to other well known Brass libraries like Orchtools Brass, East West Hollywood Brass, Cinesamples Brass.
But in this actual state the product is at the moment completely USELESS FOR ME. The CRASHES come out of nowhere. I always have to fear that my next action in Synchronplayer or Cubase leads to another CRASH.
It´s so frustrating. I´ve lost so much precious time at this weekend because of this issues.
I hope that the VSL-team will get to work soon on bugfixes.
My Audio-PC-System is more than an average system as the following:
- Intel Core I7 with 64 GB RAM
- OS: WIN 10 (64-bit)
- DAW: Cubase Pro 9.5
- Soundcard: RME AIO
- Harddrives: 3x SSD (Samsung) 500 GB
"SYNCHRON-ized BRASS Dimension I" is in my personal opinion probably one of the best brass-library you can get nowadays, but the functionality of the product right at this moment is a terrible desaster!"
