Hello everbody,
SYNCHRON-ized Dimension Brass I and SYNCHRON-ized Dimension Brass II has landed, with quite some extra material on board.
As an extra bonus, Humanize is now part of the powerful Synchron Player!
Great introduction and upgrade prices are available in the introduction period through November 30th, 2018!
Additionally, the new material is also available in the new Extended Libraries for Dimension Brass I & Dimension Brass II for Vienna Instruments.
Enjoy!

Hi Paul
I'm a little confused about what comes in which package for upgrades and the cost difference.
Mainly, the upgrade to SYNHRON-ized DB for owners of I&II is much cheaper than those who only own DB I, but it doesn't seem to come with the additional muted ensemble that you get from DB II, so I don't quite get this price difference.
It DOES appear, however, that SYNCHRON-ized includes the new extended articulations, is that correct? I.e., buy upgrading to SYNCHRON-ized DB, you are getting all full the DB articulations to date but also with the new SYNCHRON player capabilities etc... Is that correct?

Hi,
That's correct, SYNCHRON-ized Dimension Brass I&II contains the same samples as the Dimension Brass VI FULL Library (= Standard&Extended Library).

Hi RLD,
The advantage is the interface you get with the Synchron Player, with a comfprtable overview, included mixer and channel FX, and of course the implemented compatibility with all other Synchron Series products.

(Apart from the already mentioned compatibility with the Libraries of the original Synchron-Series which are recorded in as they are placed in the Synchronstage) imho the Synchronplayer is just a huge step forward in the development of Players for the very large variety of Orchestral sample-Libraries.
I fear most VSL-Customers didn't already realised why the Concept of switch and x-Fade-able Articulation-Dimension could be such a timesaver the larger the variety of different patches are available, since as the Preset already indicate the Idea is that you must no longer search long lists or foldertrees for a certain patch to load it and organize than its midi-selection via a certain cell in your VI-Matrix, but just to decide with your mididata what certain quality the patch should have and keep this decision effective even if you change other aspects of your decision.
F.I. you want a certain type of vibrato but for some notes you need a legato patch for another a cresc. or a sustain as long the mididata which decieded the legatotype you have chosenm keeps the same the Synchronplayerr will select also sustain or swell patches withe the same kind of legato,
As soon we will get original muted patches or perhaps if they will ever synchronize Dimension violins the ability to restrict the player on a certain String of the violin this will allow to reduce the amount of programming very complex musical contextes with a very complex variety of available patches always focussed on a few musical reasonable decisions no longer distracted from the tedious work you would have done if you ever would have tried to program anything similar in VI.
The more a detaild variety of Sample content will be available this concept will unfold its tremendous power in comparison to every other existing Sampleplayer for ORchestral libraries.
How ever for the moment the step from VI to Synchron-Player seem to be "a small step for a human but.... "
