Hi, Here is the question I had for a while, but did not bother to ask earlier: what is the point of listing the 'Room Mic' as a separate mic if this is not a mic but a mix, i.e. actually a preset? Thanks.

Hi,
The Room-Mix is a great mix of ALL room-mics (Full Library) and a very easy and resource-friendly way to get good results.

Interesting, so does that imply that it should not be used together with all other mics in a mix? Or is it indeed designed to be used in a mix where all other mics are used as well.

Hi,
It's designed to be a resource-friendly option, and as you can see from our factory presets, we are either using the Room-Mix option for the room impressions OR a mix of the available separate room-mics.
I'd stick to that, from a technical point of view. But of course whatever sounds good to you is the perfect choice!

Paul, Is it possible to disclose exact mix details chosen for the Room Mic? This might help in more effectively mixing it with close mics.

Hi VladKo,
Which kind of mix details would you like to know?

Hi Paul. 1. What mics were included. 2. Gain/volume for each mic. 3. Delay value for each mic. 4. Reverb value for each mic. 5. Panning and EQ changes from default for each mic if any. 6. FX applied to each mic (if any).
And I'd love to have these details for each of 3 libs. I already own 4, and going to get Imperial soon.
Thanks.
