I'm getting a very consistent bug using Solo Strings in Vienna Ensemble / Pro Tools, where the release sample for a note will be triggered substantially late. Weirdly, it's dependent on whenever the next note is triggered - with the release sample of the first note being triggered about a second after the second note begins.
I've turned off the 'Master Release Sample' for each instrument - it hasn't changed the behaviour at all.
I removed all the cache files and everything else I could find in ~Library - after that didn't work, I uninstalled then reinstalled the software. As soon as I reload any of my sessions, the problem is still there.
I found this thread from 2007, where someone is citing the same issue (interestingly, also with solo strings), but no solution is offered other than 'emptying the cache', which hasn't made any difference here (unless there's a different cache I should be emptying?). A few more folks in the thread pose questions without any answers. https://www.vsl.co.at/community/posts/t11404-Error-in-release-samples#post84415
Any suggestions would be very welcome. Currently the audio I'm rendering is unusable.

Welcome ag_tho,
This sounds unusual. Did you install the Library Update for VI Solo Strings I?
If that doesn't change anything, can you please send your ProTools project to ? I will take a look.
Best, Paul
