Esteemed Forum,
Sadly stuck at step #1. How do I get the samples or "presets" loaded into the Synchron player in the first place. I tried choosing the path of my folder. Nothing "saves" even if I quit and reopen. I tried dragging the files over into the database window. Really stumped here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you much

Hi Chris!
Could you please mention what library you are trying to use, and could you also please check what file extension the library files in the folder have?
Best, Ben

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the response and apologies for the delay!
I'm trying to load up the synchron strings. The extension names on the files appear to be the proper ones: "vsynvolume". I moved them into a dedicated folder on my desktop. I tried selecting the path of that folder below.
Thanks! Chris Avery attached the following image(s): ScreenU0020ShotU00202021-06-23U0020atU00207.29.18U0020PM.png (188kb) downloaded 8 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register.

Hi Chris!
You changed the path to the User presets, but you have not added the library path (via + button). Check out this guide: https://www.vsl.info/tutorials/faqs/libraries#sample-management-sy

Thanks Ben,
But we're not out of the woods yet I'm afraid. The issue seems to be that after I add the library path (via the + button) and close the preferences window I do not see the message that should say "the following changes requires a restart of the host to be effective".
When I close out and quit the standalone player and start it back up the new path is not there. Just a blank window.
Thanks

I did see that handy video when I was attempting this last week. I just can't seem to reproduce what Paul is demonstrating.

Hi Chris,
Are you sure that you have installed (=extracted) the installation files? Can you please send a quick screenshot of your sample content to , with a reference to this thread?
Thanks, Paul

Thanks for chiming in, Paul. Will do!
Yes I'm pretty sure I've installed the files. But now I'm hoping I'm wrong because hey, that would be one way to fix this :)
