Hi everybody,
We're happy to announce a new incredible piano, our Synchron German Upright 1904!
This C. Bechstein upright piano was built in Berlin Kreuzberg in the early 20th century. Its distinctive vintage character, owing to its generous proportion of resonating wood, was captured with a multi-microphone setup at Synchron Stage Vienna’s Stage B.
And we're celebrating this with a special offer for ALL KEYED INSTRUMENTS, including free demo licenses for all included products!
Enjoy the start of your summer!
Best, Paul

This was a surprise (after the videos about the new Fazioli, I was expecting it to be the next synchron; maybe for Christmas???)... But this Bechstein is full of character and so different from the Bosendorfer Upright. Nice... Now I have to decide if I upgrade my D-274 to full, or if I buy the CFX, the BI or this new German Upright... Decisions, decisions...
I have one doubt about the demos, and the way it is handled with the iLok vs the old eLicenser way. I have already placed the order for all the demos and already have the serial numbers of each piano in myVSL/myOrders, but I don't have HD space to install all of them simultaneously. In the new iLok scheme, the free demos are only available to download until the 18th july, or can I download and activate the 30 days after the 18th July?

Hi,
Glad you like the new German Upright 1904 :-)
You can activate licenses anytime you like with iLok. Runtime is 30 days from activation.
Enjoy the testing time!

Thanks for the demo option. I'll be trying out the new upright today. Also, the entire revamp with iLok and Vienna Assistant is a real winner. The entire process of acquiring licenses and sample content is so easy. Now all we need is the M1 version of Synchron Pianos and life will be complete. 😀
God Bless,
David

Hi,
We have a great Fazioli at Synchron Stage Vienna now, but it has not been captured (yet). Quite an undertaking when you have a busy recording schedule like we luckily do...

Hi Paul: one quick doubt... I bought the D-274 standard last year and I have it in my main computer with the eLicenser. Can I buy the upgrade to the Full version and make it work with the eLicenser, or do I need to move to iLok? That computer has sketchy access to wifi where it is located and as long as the eLicenser works I am fine with that...

Hi Vagfilm,
We are not selling any eLicenser licenses anymore, so you'd have to switch to iLok.
These Vienna hard drives might help.

Thank you for the clarification... I am running the iLok versions on another computer without a problem, but since I cannot have eLicenser and iLok on the same computer, and I don't have continuous wifi access in that location, I need to consider the upgrade PLUS an iLok dongle... Have to think...

This German upright is very, very nice. Well done.
Has anyone else noticed a louder 'tacky' sound on G4? I know this could be just the way the piano is, but now that I've noticed it, it sticks out. :)
Bit of a FYI for VSL - I have Nords and other hardware piano machines and never really thought of using a piano VI, but on a whim I tried the free soft imperial and was super impressed with how it felt to play and the warmth of the sound. That led me to try other brands of VI pianos but VSL's playability and warmth is superb.
So the free soft imperial was a good idea as I will be purchasing the German upright. :)
Cheers
Kim
