So far so good. No spikes in the CPU meter. 5 mics, latency @ 64, pedal down, glissandos up and down the keys and I still can't get my CPU load to 100% on my Mac mini Pro M2 (32GB ram).
This was not possible with the non-silicon Synchron Piano player.
Just for fun I turned on all the mics in the full library (F308) and was able to play without pops/crackles and was only able to reach 100% load with pedal down glissandos. And it still was playable at 100% load.
Pretty awesome!
One thing I noticed was that the 32 latency setting is not available (defaults to 512 when selected). I normally play at 64, but I was curious how it would perform at 32.

Latency @ 32 is available for me (same machine spec). What audio interface are you using? Maybe that is what is limiting you.

Doesn't work with anything. Mac core audio, Yamaha N1X audio interface, or Scarlett 2i2. Whenever I select 32 it defaults to 512.

It does default to 512 if you relaunch the program, but 32 is available? Just reset it after launch.
Also, if you use it as a plugin in Logic or MainStage the latency preferences stick.
Edit: You're right it defaults differently for 32 in the stand alone player. But it works as expected in a sequencer.

Is there any new 30 days demo period upcoming for the synchron pianos?
I'm new to these pianos and wanted to test them back in 2022 when you had the last demo period, but couldn't really because the performance on my M1 Max Macbook was not there, pops and spikes.

I'm afraid we are not offering demo licenses for the big Synchron Pianos right now.
But we offer a 14 -day return policy when you purchase in our webshop, so you will be safe there!

I would like to know some performance data with this new release.
In particular, I'm considering switching from my beefy PC to something lighter like a Mac Mini or MacBook.
I'm interested in the basics: live performance with no pops, no crackles, and round-trip latency below 40ms with 6 or 7 mics.
I'm getting 60ms of actual measured round-trip latency with no dedicated audio interface! So the bar is not set extremely high. (Planning on setting up a dedicated RME HDSPe aiming at <20ms).
Anyone ready to provide some round-trip latencies with many mics? I would appreciate.

Libraries: Synchron Pianos Yamaha CFX Full, D274 full.
PC Specs: RME HDSPe AIO, Asus Z590E, Intel i9 11900KF @5 GHz, 64GB RAM DDR4 @3600 MHz

Logic Pro says I'm at 9.5ms roundtrip (at 64 latency). It doesn't matter if I'm using 5 or 10 mics. My Mac mini M2 laughs and says, "is that all you got?"
Synchron Pianos really works awesome with with Apple silicon. It was worth the wait. Thanks again to VSL for making our dreams come true. 😀

Silicon Native does not show up in Vienna Assistant. I'm updated and do not see it in my 'not installed' list. Plus my license for Synchron Concert D-274 no longer shows in the i-Lok license manager.
I've been using the product for almost a year, what happened to it?
Found the license, still wondering about Silicon Native and why I can't connect to that as it is not in Vienna Assistant. Cubase 12, Windows 10 Installed on ‎4/‎11/‎2022
