I know this question is better suited to Cubase.net (I've posted it there, as well) but I've had a hard time getting answers to meaningful questions on that forum...

I'm running Halion3 player on a second computer with a number of Opus1/2 samples (mainly legato instruments). The problem I'm having is that Hal3 won't re-load the banks that I save, so I'm constantly having to re-load each instrument individually (takes LOTS of time...).

It only seems to happen when I get more than 600-800 MB of samples loaded - smaller .FXB's load up just fine.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, what was the fix?

Thanks,

rgames

I too would LOVE to find a solution to this problem. I've recently changed computers, and reinstalling everything, new universal binary version of halion for inteal and it's STILL doing exactly the same thing, IT seem like I can hardly even load entire patches preperly, let alone banks. Half the time, performance instruments are missing their 'on' notes when they load, or all the p samples are missing when they load etc etc. help us please vsl!

Hi,

are you using our dedicated HALion programs? They are available when you register your Horizon Series products, right in your user area.
Also, please find a setup guide for HALion and the VSL Horizon Series
here, just to make sure that everything works correctly.

Hope that helps. Otherwise, the more information you can give us, the better Smile

Best,

Paul
