I have GS3 on a P4 PC, connected to a Tascam FW-1804. I use this computer only for the GS3. I´m tryng to use the Performance Tool mixed whit the regular instruments but when I try to rout it, the Performance tool tell me that "You can not mix GSIF (low latency) midi ports whit the slower Windows midi port".
Is there some way to mix them or I have to use the regular midi ports to do it ?
And if I use the regular midi ports, I have the same result on the performing of the program?
Thanks in advanced.

welcome roffiel,
could you describe your midi-routing more detailed and if the sequencer is running on the same machine?

Hi cm : I have mi P4 PC (3.40 GHz/ 2 Gb RAM) whit the GS3 connected to the Tascam FW-1804. I have a Mac dual 1 GHz power PC running Digital Performer, connected to a MOTU Micro express Midi interface. I connect the Midi out of my Micro express to the Midi in of my Tascam FW-1804. Inside the configuration of the Tascam I can choose if I like to work whit a standard Midi in or GSIF.
I dont know why, but I can't Log in whit my other name. I have to register under this new name. Sorry, my registered adress for that name was expired.

i'd assume you changed your email for the old account and have not received or followed the confirmation link ... anyway i've merged them and resent my email.

unfortunately we don't have a tascam FW-1804 here to reproduce the situation ... possibly synthetic has one ... but without reading the specs i'd say the difference could be just a few ms difference regarding delay of the midi-signal

Hi cm : I received your e mail. Well, I wrote you an explanation of the situation. I try using the Tascam interfce with the normal midi ports and work fine for me. But I still have the doubt about that legend. I hope you can confirm the situation using a Tascam FW-1804 and have and explanation for that. I'm in contact. Thanks.
