When I draw controllers in my sequencer I hear a slight increase in VOLUME but not VELOCITY. (I am only hearing the forte samples and not the others) As I understand it Velocity is controller 1 for the MOD wheel. This used to work fine for me but it suddenly has stopped working. Any clues?

(I have been in contact with Sonar about this issue too and they had me update all current patches for all software I'm using and reinstall everything)

just a shot into the blue: your modwheel might have decided to send different controller messages? check with a midi-monitor ... a documentation for midi to be found here

In Halion 2 located under the menu MOD/TUNE there are three columns under the word modulation...

Under Source I clicked "edit" and a new window appeared titled "adjust amount fader".

Offset was set to "0" and range was set to "100".

If I change offset to "-100" I can now hear the p, mp, mf samples being played when I modulate!!!

I don't know what I did or why it worked but now I'm wondering...am I going to have to change this for EVERY program I load?????

Is there some global setting somewhere? And why did my settings change in the first place?
