I'm a relatively new user to Vienna Symphonic Library. I have noticed that some questions have gone unanswered for long periods of time. I have posted 2 questions myself that have gone unanswered.

What is the reason for a no response? That discourages new users from asking questions. I mean no disrespect to this forum but we pay a lot of money for this product. Outside of Beat Kaufmann's tutorial we don't have any way of trying to figure out how to use the product.

    Thanks Vanessa

  • Such as?

As you will see from my post count I try to help as much as I can. However, if you are using one of the old products I tend not to check those forums. If you really need answers, then contact support, as this is primarily a user forum (not to imply that VSL bods don't participate).

  • Sorry, I did not realize that Horizon Series is an old product.
Outside of Opus 1, Vienna is still selling all other Horizon products.

    Thanks Vanessa

  • i think DG meant just to prefer not to step in on questions regarding horizon series products.

AFAIK you have been in touch with marnix from our EXS support, so if any questions remained open please don't hesitate to contact him again ...

if you think i could be of any help please feel free to repost your question (to the exs forum) or bring the topic up with a reply to yoursef so it gains new attention. keep in mind this is a user forum although VSL team members do their best to answer here too.

of course basically you need to know how to work with logic and exs - the only difference between other sample libraries and the horizon series is the performance tool (mainly for true legato) and the size of the library (for more detailed articulations).

  • Thanks for the response. I meant no harm.
