  • No keyboard yet . . . VSL issues

Hey everyone. Recently, I've been getting acquanted with my VSL Cube (standard). Unfortunately, my CME UF-80 keyboard wasn't so quick to arrive (ordered April 30th, still not here), so for now at least, I'm putting notes into Logic manually.

Because I still have no controller, I'm having to open separate tracks for not only each instrument, but each articulation. Is there any kind of workaround I'm missing that could help solve this problem of the missing pitch/mod wheels? I've tried putting the Logic tracks on "Learn" or "write" settings, and then make adjustments in the VSL window, the VSL window will have none of that.

Just curious......that keyboard should be here any day now......?

Anyhow, sans-keyboard-related annoyances aside.....I couldn't be happier with the sounds.

    Welcome EuphonicSoundLab [:)],

simply use keyswiches or enter MIDI Controler Data in Logic to access different patches . The Vienna Instruments only need MIDI - no matter how it was generated. Everything that can be done with a keyboard can be done in a sequencer without the keyboard as well.

Did you check out the Video Tutorials already? You will find a lot of examples and help there [:)]

    Best,

    Paul
