    I'm looking for recommendations on the above, 88 keys, preferably with MIDI sliders to augment the mod wheel that comes as standard. Any suggestions?

    Look at CME. They also have a breath controller input as well as 8 sliders and 8 knobs.

     I checked out the CME keyboards about one year ago and i found the keyboards really awfull.

    I decided to go with a doepfer keyboard and i'm still happy with it. So, if you are after that real "piano-feeling" i would not recommend the CME keyboards. If you are not you should check them out (and maybe also the new wireless version as well).
