  • Demos from litterature

    Hello

First of all a deep bow for your efforts and initial outline of this upcoming library. I have listened the demos with great astonishment and think they are some of the best sounding examples of sampled orchestral music to this date.

But to get a better idea of the range and possibillities of your product I personally would find it rewarding to be able to hear a few examples of mock-ups of some of the great classical masters.

A few minutes of a Brahms or Mahler symphony or an ouverture by Mozart or the like..

I hope this could be done within the scope of your time.

  • Nicklas, I agree that demos based on a variety of styles from the literature is of pivotal importance in providing confidence in the VSL upcoming library, which so far sounds like it is going to open up a whole new world for people serious about ochestral music.

I have started a thread on this very topic at the GigaStudio forum, http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=003068">http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=003068 but unfortunately there seems to be limited interest on discussing issues related to acheiving optimal realism in virtual ochestrations on that particular forum.

Hopefully we will have many constructive discussions on this VSL forum in the coming months as various issues arise.

Dietz, it was great news to see that you are preparing some demos based on major works!

    Cheers, Gungnir
