    According to the latest statistics I have contributed roughly 1/16th of all the posts to this forum. For the 777 users currently signed up, that makes me as powerful as 50 posters!!!!

    You got the post numbers right, but you are only as powerful as 1 (one) user. Period. Don't ever overestimate MY power. I am as well a 1/777 as you, hopefully my less than 40 opinions aren't brushed under the red carpet you rolled out for your 800 or something below.

    Looking at it another way, in a room full of 777 people - one person is doing most (1/16) of the talking.

    If it were me doing most of the talking, my mother would harshly remind me of my manners.

    She would also remind me that it does not make me the most powerful person in the room. [[;)]]

    if i take the three top posters as a basis it's 0.88 users
    so what i want to say is: everything is relative ....

    btw: some time ago several requests have been posted to have the forums moderated better or stronger and my answer has been i don't see a need to do so - well, everything seems to be pretty self regulating, no?
    and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
