  • A couple of new demos

I always like to announce new demos [:D]

    First:

    on our Horizon site

    http://vsl.co.at/english/pages/profile/news/horizon-demos.htm

a Glass & Stones demo composed by Hollywood composer Bill Brown.
    "Timelapse_2004"
There are 2 versions, one basicly with Glass & Stones and Strings orchestrations, and a second one with additional percussions.

a cool Saxophone demo by Craig Sharmat
    "Herb's_Bounce"

and four excerpts of compositions by Kuno Schmid featuring exclusively our Pro Edition
You find them in our regular user demo section:

    http://vsl.co.at/english/demos/User_demos/Kuno_Schmid/Mediation.htm

    "Mediation"
    "Ways of Truth"
    "Human Pulse"
    "Elegia"

All mixes were originally done in 5.1 surround.
Maybe Dietz could prepare short excerpts of multitrack wavfiles for download.

    best
    Herb

  • Welcome back Herb!
The newly posted demos are exquisite!
Kuno is not only an impressive composer but a master in sequencing his parts. These pieces are fluid, organic and demonstrate VSL flexibility with great musicality.

    Bravo Kuno!!!

    Best,
    Robert

  • Craig Sharmat , very nice song!
You really show us that you can pull of a lot of genras, rock, jazz, cartoon and classic styles. I would't doubt if one day a person said to you:- Nice to have you onboard, welcome to hollywood! [[:D]]

As for bill brown.... If you read this I would like to say that I have enjoyed a lot of hours in front of the computer playing command & conquer generals. I didn't know it was you who made those cool songs. I know it was some kind of mysteri about the composer. But of course it had to be a "hollywood guy"!
    [[:D]]

How all of you get so talented, I don't know....

  • Craig,

Jamming my friend. Is that you on the voice overs? Way cool.

Kuno's pieces hghlight how wonderful the WW's are in Pro. Very nice.

Hehe, lol! [;)] Craig is doing TV scoring: he is already a "real L.A. pro composer".

    Great cue, Sharmy!

    Thanks Peter [:D]

    Audun,

yes I am a real breathing composer hacking out a living in LA. I appreciate the compliment. My next goal is to be well off enough to move to a more subdued place. May never happen, but i'm not complaining.

As always I just want to say how much I like Kuno's compositions.

  • Sharmy,

there is a house for sale right next to mine..How about moving to Long Island NY..Maybe we can collaborate by poolside. >grin<

    Alan Russell

  • I just love Kuno's Human Pulse. Fantastic work! [[:|]]
    Hat off to you Kuno
