  • 14 days until what?

MIR a new cube? I am guessing mir - which is really exicitng. Good job to the marketing team - I like the creativity of it.

  • "It's not a dream"?

    It is, I can't see anything...! ;o)

Or is that the idea..? Build the hype?

  • The front page should tell you that the "Symphonic Cube" will be released in 14 days. It's the same picture as shown on the advertisements for the symphonic editions ...
But let's start the rumoring ...

Well, it worked with "The Beatles are Coming!" back in the early Sixties!

I tried emptying my cache, but it still just shows the normal Simply Perform page. Doesn't matter, thanks for the info anyway!

  • Although I'm actually not shure ... maybe it's really the MIR ...
    [*-)]:

  • At this point in time, it matters not to me. I recently bought Pro Edition, and now I need a G5, so whatever it is, I can't afford it anyway!

    Unless it's free... ;o)

  • You gotta love this. You can bet we won't here a peep from anyone at VSL until the announcement - and it's gotta be the Cube hence that corner.

So how many Gigabytes and how much money. My guess:

    400 GB
    £5,500.

I've just got a new credit card for the no interest until Sept 2006 - scary - very scary [*-)]

  • Ya gotta love the 'Marketing guys' [[;)]]

    Rob

  • Where's the link for this?

  • 14 days till very single VSL Lib. is ported to Kontakt...Yeah!!!!! [:D] [:D]

I found out on the newsletter from VSL, but it doesn't say much: "14 days, It's not a dream... ...it's real." Then "Watch our Countdown" with a link to the site here.

But I can't find anything on the site.

  • WHOOO!!

    Just in time for christmas!!

I've they Have the Chamber Srings ported for konakt with scripts etc included, I'll buy on day 1.

  • It's on the main entrance page. Probably not the page most people bookmark, so it'll be missed by a lot of people.

    http://www.vsl.co.at/

At first it will appear blank, but you need to wait about 3 seconds for it to start.

Yeah, there's nothing there though, a flash intro the same as the newsletter (14 Days, It's not a Dream). Clicking on 'English' takes me into the usual Simply Perform page...

  • Everyone has assumed that its good news, and that it has to do with samples - I say its a prediction that the apocalypse is finally upon us! [[:|]]

    [:D]

  • My guesstimate for the lot [remember, there was talk of the Cube being more 'modular based'] so i.e. the new 'pro ed' is:

    8,500 euro.
    700 gig.

  • If you consider that the display shows three boxes of various sizes you may be able to divine it's meaning. Does it represent 1st ed, Pro, Cube? Or is MIR somehow represented? My guess is MIR isn't ready but who knows.

1st Edition has been discontinued so unlikely to be that..

  • I say it's the 24-bit Symphonic Cube..
