  • Take my money....all of it!

This is really exciting news, many congratulaions everyone!

Here's my question, which no doubt others will be asking too:-
I currently own the Opus bundle plus Solo & Chamber Strings. If I want to take full advantage of the discounts available, do I first need to buy the remaining Horizon products.....then register them before purchasing the Pro Edition.....then register that before buying the Symphonic Cube?

Presumably if I buy them all at the same time I won't get all the discounts?

This may be a challenge to complete before the 6th January. Is there a quicker or cheaper way?

    Many thanks

    Colin

PS: Related to this is the fact that I paid more for the strings packages than they are worth in the Symphonic Cube - how does that work if I'm not paying for the same samples twice - should I not be getting a rebate? [8-)]

  • Once the discount calculator is online, all your questions will answered.

But if you want to get the best price foreverything, upgrade now to the Pro Edition. The Pro Edition costs you -35% less + your discount for you bundle.

Later you upgrade to the Symphonic Cube (or single collections) and you get the full discount, though you didn't pay the full price.

    Anna:
I am assuming this is a way to clear out PRO ED inventory.
It sounds redundant. I want to jump straight to the new instruments from the 1st edition performance set. Why bother going to the pro edition then the new instruments from a discount. Would it not make more sense to just apply the discount directly to the new instruments?
In any event someone make some more espresso for CM to get that calculator on line!

  • you're right, why bother doing all this upgrade stuff if we want to go directly to the Instruments ?

  • Some people do everything to save a penny [;)] In fact you can have everything, both the VI and the multisamples for your samplers when buying the currently availible products. To my knowledge there wasn't mentioned anywhere the current product will change or currently availible products will disappear soon (or after the sale). But with the sale you'll be able to extend your library to the full SC for a lower price than going directly, plus having all options in your hand. You also get both, 16bit for all things you buy now in the sale and 24bit with all Vienna Instruments.

    All the best,
