    Hi... will any USB keys be shipped with the SC, or must they be ordered seperately even if its just one?

    I asked best service if it made any difference if I ordered SC from them og from here. They said no. So I ordered from this website, and asked them for 5 USB keys (as someone suggested might work due do so large an order). Unfortunately Bestservice claims that they cant do this because I ordered from your website, in which case they earn less and act mostly as a logistical partner. So hows that for a long nose [:D]

    So - whats the deal with these keys?

    Can my key suplied for CubaseSX3 me used for the VI as well?

    ... must be a misunderstanding ... sale and delivery happens through bestservice, so i'm sure they will sell you viennaKeys ....

    you can use any syncrosoft dongle also for vienna - the only thing you would miss is the limited demo-mode from a viennaKey (which allows you to start immediately without the need to add VI licenses first)

    Ah ok, I was not clear enough in the above message. Yes they would sell me keys, but I was hoping to cut a deal with them to have a few "free og charge" due to the huge amounts of € that my orders entailed.

    Anyway, I just got a new email from bestservice and it seems sorted.

    I'm also curious, I thought I read that 1 ViennaKey is coming with each VI so the user can start immediately... or is it that 1 ViennaKey is coming with every purchase, or that one has to buy the ViennaKey in any case in addition to the desired VI?

    I've been trying to understand that same question for awhile now...

    Cmon VSL, is it :

    1 - 0 Vienna Keys with a purchase - you must buy them seperately
    2 - 1 Vienna Key with every purchase (i.e 1 for the Cube or if you were to buy individually one per VI)
    3 - 1 Vienna Key for every VI (so even if you buy the cube you get 10 Keys)

    You will have to buy the ViennaKey separately, and you can use one Key for all your Collections if you want, and if you run them on one machine. In a nutshell, you'll need one ViennaKey for every computer you're running Vienna Instruments on. So you'll have to order at least one Vienna Key with your first purchase.

    So if I understand it correctly Martin - you don't get a key with any library purchase. So without the key, the library will not work? Is this correct?

    Exactly... so be sure to get one. I can imagine myself killing something if SC arrived, and then finding out that I had to wait three days for a key to arrive [:D]

    No, that cannot be the case. When I buy a house or car, I get at least one key, so I would expect the same from VSL. Imagine if they sold you a licence to use VI but charged you extra for the DVDs that it comes on [[:|]]

    In any case, there was no option to order a key when I ordered SC, so they have a duty to provide at least one.

    If that is the case - VSL can prepare itself for some very HEAVY criticism.

    So on mac We won't be able to use the Logic Pro Key ? We'll need one more USB port ?
    Why don't you offer a viennakey with every complete purchase ? how expensive is it ?

    I think the answer was that it comes with a dongle.

    is the XSkey made by Syncrosoft? If so, it has some proprietary stuff in it, because License Control Center doesn't acknowledge it.
