  • Upright Bass

Does anyone know what a VI Online_10 License is? No one at VSL seems to know and this prompt appears if I try to launch the Upright Bass. This is a downloaded product. One more issue, when I did get through once, it asks for the disc1  to do the install to the directory, of course there are no discs. Please help

  • "VI Online_10" is the upright bass license. (all download product licenses do have numbers like this)

You need this license, also the actual LCC and VI software to run the upright bass.

So the "VI Online_10" license name has to be listed in LCC and in the VI software (on the preset select page on the left side of the GUI).

    1. Download the .zip file and unpack it by double-clicking on its icon. This will create a folder that contains the package.info file.
    2. Download the .cab files and place them into the folder you’ve just created.
    3. In case you haven’t done so already, download and install the most recent Vienna Instruments Player Software.
    4. Run the Vienna Instruments Library Installer and locate the file “package.info” in the above-mentioned folder.

issue with OS X / safari is that it does not create a folder from the zip-file (mostly unpacks the package.info automatically to the desktop), so you would need to do this *by hand* - the rest is the same
