Just purchased the Cube and blown away by the sound. The learning curve was steeper than I thought but I'm making headway.
I'm running DP 5.13 on Mac Pro Intel Quad 3.0 with 4GB of ram running Leopard. I started programming with separate VIs and decided to switch to using VE (clutter was horrible). I can only load about 6 instruments into VE before it crashes (only VE crashes) so I figured that maybe there's a limit on how many instruments I could load. I tried loading another instance of VE and loading additional instruments in it but again it crashed VE. I've closed other plug in instruments and other programs but nothing seems to help. Is this a DP issue? A ram issue? Or am I limited to how many instances of VE or a combination of all of these things? It appeared from the FAQs that I should be able to open 24 VI in my sytem before I stress out the processor/busses/ram. Appreciate the help. I'm dying to really get going programming and this is killing me.
