    Considering a small budget music composition setup for a composer friend who has mainly been pencil and paper all his life to now. He will be working in DP and buying a new Mac Pro. He has requested a similar setup as me because he wants compatibility first and flexibility second. I was thinking Kontakt as well but not sure he would like the fidelity as much as various VSL editions to get him going. What would the best selections for orchestration startup be please to recommend to him? Thanks

     Well I think the smallest full package here is VSL SE which is 445 dollars which is pretty good considering what you're getting and the quality of it.. Is that ok?
