    I'm not a pro, but i want to make filmscore music. I have already the keyboards collection and Percussion full.  I'm verry happy about them. One of the next things i want to buy is Elements.

    But then i'm not sure what further direction to go in buying VSL samples. I want not to spend much money more. Max 2000 euros.  I love the appassionate and epic horns examples.

    So I think that I have 2 options :

    - buy appassionate strings I full + brass II full  and hope that it will cover my needs

    or 

    - buy SE full + PLUS libraries and maybe the future EXTEND PLUS libraries which includes more appassionate and epic horns.

    what do you people suggest ?

    I would have thought you'd do better to start with Brass I since it contains all the basic orchestral brass instruments:

    Trumpet
    Viennese horn
    Tenor trombone
    Tuba
    Trumpet ensemble (3 players)
    Horn ensemble (4 players)
    Trombone ensemble (3 players)

    Brass contains the 8-player Epic Horns but its other instruments (all solo) are more specialised.
