    I just installed VI Special Edition and can get no audio output in either standalone mode or with Logic Pro as an AU instrument. All other audio works fine, I've checked the audio driver prefs on VI and they are correct. Has anyone else had this problem?? Running Macpro Dual Core 2.66 2gig ram OSX10.4 ANy help would save a nervous breakdown.

    Dear Benny26, 

    please make sure that you have the latest version of Syncrosoft´s LCC (version 5.2.24.6) and our Vienna Instruments Software installed (version 2.0-3136). You´ll find it here:

    1. Please reboot your computer.

    2. Repair disk permissions for all drives with help of of the application <disk utility> from Mac HD/applications/utilities

    3. Now launch Vi again as standalone or plug-in and make sure that your audio settings are correct.

    Have you checked 'silly things' like having VI volume set to zero?
