    Real quick question. I just received the SE, and I'm wanting to purchase the download version of the Extended version of the SE Strings and the Extended Percussion. But the Buy Now is grayed out. I have reg my key also online. I have not installed the SE DVD's yet, because i want to purchase and install everything a once.

    Am i doing something wrong or I still don't understand how this download purchase worked,lol. I assumed if i had bought the SE DVD version i could also buy the extended too.

     Hello CplusE,

    I´m afraid you cannot mix the formats (DVD and Download Products), they use different licenses. 

    Did you register your SE DVD collections yet? If you have not registered it, there´s a chance to return your SE DVD collection and instead go for the downloadable SE DVD collection.

    I think you only have to buy the license to the extended library, because the samples are already on the SE DVDs you bought. So i think the solution for you is buying the whole extended library instead of buying the licenses for the SE Strings Extended and Percussion Extended.

    It looks like I'm out of luck unless they have a new download deal. I really didn't have use for all the other extended edition. But thank you fro all your comments , i really want to know before the price hike. But as I always say you have to pay for quality.
