  • Special Edition

Hi there, I have a quick question. I just purchased the Special Edition DVD bundle and wanted to know if I can split the bundle and install the Special Edition package on one PC and the Special Edition Plus package on a second PC, or do both packages need to be installed on the same PC? I'm assuming if I'm able to split the bundle, I would need 2 ViennaKeys?? Thanks! Jeff

  • you can install the special edition and the special edition plus on seperate computers, but would need 2 keys (one per computer).

if there is not an important reason to do so i'd try to avoid that, because it makes organisation of tracks a little bit more complicated (eg. for solo strings legato on one track and performance repetitions on another)

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
  • Thanks for your response. Sounds like the smart move is to just keep both packages on one PC. Jeff

  • With Horizon Series, I sometimes used more than 10 tracks for a single instrument in order to get all articulations. Splitting PLUS and non-PLUS series gives you 2 tracks for a single instrument. I think that's not comparable, and you might get used to it.
