I am unable to register my Vienna special edition software on my new
computer. I have done all the steps in the snycrosoft control center. I have
entered in the serial number and recieved an activation code. However when I put
the activation code into the download licence and hit start I get an error
message saying " The date/time zone of this computer are possibly incorrect.
Please check the correctness of the settings for the date, time and time zone of this computer. "

I am installing this software on a new computer that mas made in the states.
When i recieved it i changed the time zones and time to my time. Is this the
problem? I dont see how changing time zones on the computers clock would
interfere with this software installation. I have tried putting the time
and zone back and restarting my computer and trying again but get the same message.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

Have you tried reinstalling the Syncrosoft License Control Center? You can get the latest update on www.syncrosoft.com by clicking on the support section at the top right of the website. The latest version is 5.4.2.3. After you download and install the update, retry inputting the activation code VSL sent you.

if the message says *The date/time zone of this computer are possibly incorrect* you should consider this to be the case ... something which could have happened is that you adjusted the time/date to show up correctly but your settings are still pinting to a not applying timezone ....
