    I´m really desperate: I´ve just installed a very clean Mac OS 10.5.3. (10.5.5. seems to cause more problems with VE), Logic and the newest VE on my 16 GB Mac 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel. The system performance looks very good now, but I get clicks, pops, etc. when I route to many VE-outputs to different Aux channels. . To test this, I´m running a Logic-Projekt with just 3 VE-Instances and no other effects at all. If I play 30 stacc-instruments parallel, everything is fine, if I don´t use to many different VE-outputs/Aux-channels. But at about 20 different outputs, it´s not possible to playback without any clicks etc. . My machine was and should be able to handle more. I´ve tried many different buffer settings for my HDSPe raydat, but the problem occours even with buffer set to 1024. Any help?

    please forgive the obvious thoughts, but is it possible it is digital distortion? Might it be worth trying it with a lower fader position on individual instruments?

    Thanks for the tipp, but unfortuneately it´s no distortion. It´s something, that VE is causing, while VI is working fine with the same amount of instruments played.

     Dear Felix Bartelt,

    I am very sorry to hear about your trouble with Vienna EnsembIe. I responded to your VE problems in an e-mail already. The problem occurs only when playing more than 18 stereo tracks in VE. This will be solved with our next update of Vienna Ensemble. Please find a more detailed explanation in my mail.
