    hi.

    i'm wondering is when using VE3 as a plug-in via ethernet if it will accept midi in from another source other than the ethernet connection.

     sorry to bump this, maybe i didn't phrase my question very well

    i am using VE3 plugin on my G5 hosted by Logic. i have the VE3 app and library on a slave intel mac. can i send midi from the G5 to the slave VE3 through a hardware midi interface rather than thought the ethernet connection.

    sorry if this is a stupid question.
