I currently have the VSL Pro Edition Orchestral Cube and Performance Set in Giga/EXS24 format working mainly in DP and Logic. Right now, I'm just using the extracted samples in a MachFive2 sampler, which unfortunately means I'm not using the power of the performance sets at all.
After looking at some of the tutorial videos using the Vienna sampler now included with the samples, I'm wondering what the best way to upgrade and make use of all the power of the built-in Vienna sampler would be.
Do I have to buy the Vienna Symphonic Library Vienna Instruments II - Special Edition in order to get the sampler? If do buy this, will my current samples be recognized by the sampler?
Any suggestions of what I should do to really make full use of the VSL? Unfortunately, Gigastudio isn't really an option because it only runs on windows systems. But I'm under the impression that the EXS24 doesn't support the legato functionality.
