This morning while launching VSL, I got this message: "The license for application 'VI-online_06' will expire soon. Number of application starts left:50".  First thing I did was update all apps related to VSL. Updated VI, VE, and Syncrosoft.  This led to a few lockups, but now they seem to have cleared up, and with all the testing, I'm down to 47 starts left. I'm not receiving the original message, but the Starts Left are still going down.

In Syncrosoft License Control Center, after selecting View License Properties, there is a group called "All Applications" with a key icon under which is the word, "Demo". Under that is another key with description of "All Vienna Symphonic Library Applications", one with checkered flag icon that says "Starts remaining:47", and a third with key icon and description: "Application Instances: 1 of max. Unlimited"

Below is another group, with description: "(Master) Collection", and below that, four more keys with descriptions: "Vienna Instrument", "Special Edition", "Special Edition L2", and "Application-Instances:3 of max. Unlimited".

Does anyone know, am I headed for serious trouble? And if so, what do I do about it?

 a series of issues:

you have purchased Orchestra SE Strings PLUS Standard Library May 2008, but not downloaded the license to a key.

but you have downloaded, installed the sample content and running the library using up your starts from the All VSL Application License which is now down to 50 starts (about what you have been warned now).

the installed license control center has obviously been somehow outdated, this is the reason it didn't know the clear text name of the SE PLUS (license database too old)

for your convenience we have just resent a copy of the confirmation message and ask you to download the license to your ViennaKey - the message will immediately go away then (do not have a vsldaemon running when doing so, best reboot before)

Thank you so much!  It worked exactly as you said it would. I'm really astounded by the speed with which you responded. I love VSL! Big Smile
