    to the show that never ends![:)] looks like things here in VSL world are doing good.

     I ve been very busy in the video server world for the last few years and need to catch up in the virual sample world again. I just took 2 giga studios out of storage and am looking at upgrading them to giga 4 but I just learned  tascam dumped the product! I have the FULL Cube. So I was wondering with the full Cube what is the best upgrade path? Are there any new samplers like  g-studio that work well.  can I get a few years out of g studio 4 or is it horrible? If I got G-4 how do I register it??  Also are there any upgrade paths to the newer virtual intruments?? Its good to see VSL is growing.Thanks all

    .There's LinuxSampler and it's free a believe. I never tried it myself though.

    I don't think you can upgrade to VI as the upgrade path has expired. But it would be the easiest and most elegant route.


    You could also translate the Cube to kontakt but that might not be a good idea for your mental health.  Right doctor? Can i watch TV now?[<:o)]  ...Seriously, i cant remember if the full Cube comes with the performance set or not, but if not, than translating it wouldn't be as bad. And you would benefit from scripting which would allow you to create fake legatos etc.. It's not like the real thing but it helps.
