    Hi,

    i'm really go crazy with this.

    I try to open some viennasuite pulgins on a cubase4 projects and the software crash, also with a empty project (see link).

    I open 2 or 3 plugins and cubase crash, nothing all is loaded.

    I installed the viennasuite on a Hp laptop nx9420 all was ok, now apparently the suite doesn't work.

    Any idea?

    I opened this thread then went downstairs to make tea. Came back and actually tried to use Cubase in the picture. Took me a few seconds to realise that I was clicking aimlessly at an image, and then another five minutes to stop laughing.

    On topic: I had lots of crashes too with the demo of the suite.

    Hi Robert,

    so just to be safe: You are still working on the same machine, your notebook, and Vienna Suite worked fine there. Right?

    For some reason it doesn´t work anymore. What happened recently? Is your Syncrosoft LCC and Vienna Suite version the latest?

    Which OS are you working on? Could it be that you are running out of RAM?

    Hi Piernick,

    Another question: Does this only happen when you are trying to open a Preset, or do the VS-plugins crash by just instantiating them?

    To be honest, I was running it on a P4 with 4gb Ram. I imagine my processor just couldn't take it ;) I didn't have the chance to try it out on a better machine before the demo period expired, so I really can't give an objective opinion. It was whenever I loaded a preset that it crashed (Cubase), but it worked very smoothly otherwise.

    yes just when i open a preset.

    But.....

    also,i open a plugin, without setting any preset just put some eq myself ,then compressor and a powerpa setup, save and close the project, when i re open the same prj all the settings are missing as well as the audio signal in throught plugins.My viennapanner is resetted in normal position without any audio signal in it!

    No ram issue, it happens with a project with one viennainstruments loaded!

    I'm really sad for this situation.

    Is not a demo, i buy it!!

    Hm - that's bad. Would you please supply a bit more information, especially which version of Windows, Cubase and Vienna Suite (build number) you are using?

    Is the Vienna Suite a fresh install, or did it happen on a system where everything went fine, and the crashes appeared out of a sudden?

    Did you try other plugins, too?

    ok my setup

    WINDOWS XP

    Cubase4.5.2

    viennasuite 1.0.1056

    Is not a fresh installation. It was fine until yesterday.

    I have a double system: the big one is a daw and all is ok there. My problems are on my Hp laptop.

    I also try to open some old projects (that was ok before that situation) and all the viennasuite plugins are resetted and if i try to load some preset crash!!!

    I try to reinstall the vienna suite, nothing happens

    Hi,

    my nightmare seems to be at the end.

    I realized that the syncrosoft driver was updated at the 5.4.10.12 and i was running the 5.4.10.8 that i downloaded 12 days ago, so i was thinking my system was updated.

    So i installed the new driver and everything seems to be fine right now; cross my fingers.

    But please put an alert info on vienna site for this veryyy fast update on syncrosoft license, they go very fast with their drivers[:)]

    Yes, same here. Working in Digital Performer. Open any preset, and the system goes down. The crash report says, "Bad Kernal Address".

    And....ditto, updating the Synchrosoft driver fixed the issue. Wonderful.
