    I'm confused in general about the idea of a 64-bit process supported under OSX; some apps do have a 'run as 64-bit' switch.

    A big thing with VE Pro, as far as my buying in with VE3, is that I can host something such as Kontakt 3.5 in it on a slave. But for instance I heavily use fxPansion BFD2, which is a 32-bit vsti and shows no signs of getting on the 64-bit bandwagon.

    Is using a 32-bit vsti under VE Pro on eg.,  OSX.5.7 strictly problematic?

    With VE Pro on OSX, you may run one instance of VE Pro Server 64-bit, and one 32-bit server instance (for using Kontakt and other AU's). With the new connector plugin, you will be able to choose which instance to connect to from your sequencer.

    That is pretty ideal. It makes sense, the things I know of which will run as 64 use a switch to get you there.

    I'll be running Kontakt as a 64 bit, BFD2 as the 32bit.

    Untill the release of the so awaited VE Pro could you guys provide an update to VE3 including the "preserve" function ??
