Hi all.
Just wanted to find out - I'm thinking about buying the chamber strings - as i have heard from many VSL friends that this might be the right library for me.
However - looking at the samples listed, I can't see a universal mode on any of the listings.
Is there a universal mode available within Chamber strings I?

Hi David,
I think the CS product page just lists the actual sample content rather than matrices/presets. I've just double-checked in my CS manual (I'm not in my studio right now) and yes, there is a Universal Mode matrix available for each of the four instrument groups in the Chamber Strings (VI-6, VA-4, VC3 and DB-2), although it is only available as part of the Extended Library, not with the Standard Library.
