    I have a 64bit Vista System, 2.83GHZ Quad (Q9550) and 8G RAM, HDSPe RayDAT card.  When I start the Vienna Imperial in 64 bit stand-alone mode (version 1.0.431) with a buffer size of 128 I'm seeing the CPU meter at around 32%.  This is just the quiescent CPU usage; no playing; no samples loaded. If I increase the buffer size the CPU usage does go down.

    Is this normal?

     Hi Meyo,

    If the CPU usage is too high for your system, you could decrease CPU if you switch off the internal convolution reverb (setting the "Reverb Amount" slider to zero), and also switching off "Sympathetic", also setting this slider to zero.
