I hope I can be clear enough so that you won't struggle too much to help me!
So my question to you guys, because I'm certain that some of you have faced similar situation, is how to you prep an audio file for looped playback? Is there a way to bypass the issue with the reverb?
if i understood the issue correctly my aproach would be the following:
add the last 2-3 bars (depending on length of the tail from your reverb) right before the first bar and the first 2-3 bars right after the last.
then cut your reverbiated audio file to the original loop-points (some cross-fading between start and end might still be neccessary to avoid a *step* of the amplitude what in most cases is the reason for a *click*)

Thanks for the tip. I had thought of similar solutions before and, although it would improve the situation, a cross-fade would still be necessary for a smooth transition. I'm just not sure if it is possible for my friend to create one in his program. Still, I'll try to work my way around from there and see what I can come up with.
Another solution might be to do a very quick fade-out (a few milliseconds) at the end of my track, so that at least there won't be a click. The transition wouldn't be very subtle though, but it might be enough for our needs.
i see - but every average audio editor should be able to do cross-fades. just zoom into the waveform and make sure your loop points are sitting at zero-crossing (where the wave form crosses the time-axis), this should avoid any clicks.
