I have a Macpro running Logic and a farm of 3 Mac Minis and my Macbook Pro. I have built some big orchestral templates that will load the correct matrices and patches into VE3. Also I use the technique of routing midi data via Auxillaries to get control of Velocity x fades and other parameters.

Can some one explain if the migration from VE3 to VE Pro will be easy or you have to start from scratch -setting up matrices and patches.

TIA

Excellent question.  Also interested in the practical switch from VE3 to VEP.

what would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

As long as you have your patches, matrices, presets and project files saved, this should cover all bases.

You may save a .viframe project in VE3, then open it with VE Pro.
