    I am running a 64 bit server of VE pro on a machine with 12 gigs of ram. I would like to load the thing up and make as many connections to the server from my main PC running Nuendo as I want. However, it seems to be maxing out at 8 connections to that computer. Is this a limitation or is there some config setting I am missing? I would really like for there to be no limit..... thanks!

    Why would you need more than 8 instances? With Nuendo, each instance will handle 512 midi channels IN and 128 audio channels OUT. May I ask what kind of arrangements you are doing? 4096 midi channels does sound like it would be enough...

    Hmmm....Then I am probably setting it up incorrectly.... Ok....figured it out and understand now! I need to be using the VST3 plug version of VE Pro on the Nuendo side. I wasn't understanding that each project within the server can access that many channels. I was thinking that each project could do only 16 channels. Thanks for your reply. It forced me to dig a little deeper. Amazing software. My projects are very large (600+ tracks) but VE Pro can indeed handle it. Best, matt
