    hello to everybody out there,

    i´ve got the follow problem.

    I have installed the trail version of vienna suite. i can use all plugins without problem if i set it into cubase as an sent.

    But how it is possible to plug that direct into vienna esemble. In the Overview of Vienna suite i cann see that this is done. But if i choose effects, vienna esemble says that there are no effects for select.

    Where is the problem?

    can anybody help me?

    It could be a few things, but as you have given no information about your set-up, it is really difficult to diagnose.

    I would hazard a guess that you are using OSX and are trying to put 32bit effects into a 64bit VE host.

    mhhh my setting is as follow:

    cubase 5

    Vienna esemble pro

    Vienne suite trial version

    What things do you also need?

    By the way vienna esemble pro is running in 32 bit mode:)

    But it also doesnt work in vienna esemble 3....

    What OS?

    Have you "told" the VE Server where you VST plugs are stored?

    ohh sorry at the moment i have still windows xp:)

    you mean in the directory manager? yes there i have selected the vienna suite directory but it takes no effect:(

     No that's not what I meant.

    Click the Vienna Ensemble Service icon, if the GUI is not already visible.

    Then click application (from memory)

    Click VST settings and make sure that the folder you have installed your effects into is included.

    You have to add your vst directory to the VST Settings of VE Pro. This image should show you how it is done for the server application:

     Ah yes, of course the VST settings are in a different place in Pro, from VE2. Sorry.

    in fact it´s really clear, cause vienna esemble is an host you have also tell him like an cubase where the plugin folder is;) many thanks again!:D
